Mushroom Kits – Mycology Supplies

If you’re looking for mushroom kits or other mycology supplies, visit our shop!  If you came here from our www.growingmushrooms.co.uk website you’ll know that we’re mushroom growers ourselves and decided to start providing supplies for people growing mushrooms at home.

From time to time we will be adding further products, depending on demand.  As well as regular growers, we are also able to supply special orders for those who grow in bulk. Currently, we are able to supply ‘all-in-one’ mushroom grow bags to suit several types of mushrooms, sterilised rye grain for use as grain spawn, substrates and both liquid and agar cultures for selected mushroom species. We plan to offer a wider selection of substrates in future.

Mycology Supplies

We supply items for more advanced home growers, from simple essentials such as petri dishes and top-quality mushroom bags through to custom-made laminar flow hoods (subject to availability). We make our own laminar flow hoods, so we know they work well, and each one is hand-made to order. Again, as we build up spare stocks, we’ll also be offering liquid culture and colonised agar supplies for the more popular mushroom species.

We produce mushrooms ourselves and we know what works, what’s useful and what isn’t and we don’t sell stuff we haven’t used or at least tested ourselves. Although we use commercial larger-scale equipment in some cases, we have used many of the items we sell since we started out growing mushrooms, so you can be sure they are of good quality. We even take samples of every batch of mushroom kits we produce and use them ourselves so that we can be sure of their quality.
