Mushroom Kits – Mycology Supplies

If you’re looking for mushroom kits or other mycology supplies, visit our shop!  If you came here from our www.growingmushrooms.co.uk website you’ll know that we’re mushroom growers ourselves and have simply decided to start selling people looking to grow mushrooms for themselves.

This shop was launched in mid-2023 and we’ll gradually be adding more and more items as time passes and we build up enough stocks to supply both ourselves and you, the mushroom grower with all your mycology supplies. Our mushroom kits will be available first, with mushroom grow bags to suit most types of mushrooms. There will be the ever-popular CVG substrate bags, ideal for those of you growing gourmet mushrooms, plus hardwood-based grow bags suited to more conventional wood-loving mushrooms.

Mycology Supplies

As stocks increase we’ll be adding more than just mushroom kits – items for more advanced home growers, from simple essentials such as petri dishes and top-quality mushroom bags through to custom-made laminar flow hoods. We make our own laminar flow hoods, so we know they work well, and each one is hand-made to order. Again, as we build up spare stocks, we’ll also be offering spore and liquid culture supplies for the more popular mushroom species.

We produce mushrooms ourselves and we know what works, what’s useful and what isn’t and we don’t sell stuff we haven’t used or at least tested ourselves. Although we use commercial larger-scale equipment in some cases, we have used many of the items we sell since we started out growing mushrooms, so you can be sure they are of good quality. We even take samples of every batch of mushroom kits we produce and use them ourselves so that we can be sure of their quality.
