5Kg pack of sterilised white millet, a perfect choice for mushroom spawn.
Used by many commercial growers as a slightly better choice than rye, there are many benefits to using millet for your mushroom spawn. Probably the most important benefit for home growers is that the smaller grain size means that your mycelium has a much higher number of inoculation points than with larger grains such as rye. In practical terms this means it typically colonises faster – though of course this depends on what you inject it with in the first place!
Our millet packs have been fully sterilised and are packaged in heat sealed unicorn spawn bags with injection ports added, ready for inoculation. This 5Kg pack is supplied as 5 x 1Kg bags. All millet orders are made to order and dispatch is usually 2 days after receipt of your order.
No spores or liquid culture are included.
